Şişecam's 3-month net sales reached TL 3.1 billion

Şişecam Group's net profit as of the end of March 2018 was TL 569 million. Consolidated net sales of Şişecam reached TL 3.1 billion during this period

Şişecam Group increased its net sales in the consoles for January-March 2018 by 17.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 3.1 billion TL. The net profit of the Group as of the end of March was 569 million TL. During the first quarter of the year, the Group produced 1.2 million tons of glass in its domestic and international establishments and in this period produced 600 thousand tons of soda ash and 900 thousand tons of industrial raw materials.

Şişecam Group Deputy Chairman and General Manager Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kırman said that following the announcement after financial statements of the Group for the January-March period of 2018, the following evaluations were made about the quarterly results: "By the end of March 2018, net sales in the console reached 3.1 billion TL. The consolidated total sales of expressing the share of international sales from overseas production and exports from Turkey in sales stood at about 58 percent. During this period, we realized international sales of around 1.8 billion TL . As a result of our ongoing optimization efforts, such as cost and geographical distribution of production, our EBITDA volume in the first three months of 2018 was 907 million TL."

300 million TL of investment expenditure
They declared that they continued to contribute to the country's economy with a total investment amount of approximately TL 300 million in the first quarter of 2018 and an export volume amounting to US $ 190 million. Dr. Ahmet Kırman continued as follows: "Our goal is to further strengthen the financial producers' society to maintain the continuity of the stable growth line and to support our growth in the forthcoming periods. While continuing to increase the speed of our efforts to optimize our production points, we will continue to optimize our costs using all the efficient methods, including increased automation usage. We are constantly realizing our evaluations of policies to be followed in the direction of sustainable profitable growth and operational excellence, taking into account the conditions of the global economy. "
